When brewing lagers, our brewers seek to maximize the potential flavor offerings of simple grains. In this case, the humble pilsner malt.

Employing traditional Czech mashing techniques, we’re able to create a complexity and depth to our base beer without sacrificing clarity or color.

The addition of Columbus hops at several stages of the brewing process gives this lagerbier a punchy hoppy aroma, giving way to the Columbus hops’ characteristic resin, lemon and herbal notes.

Of course, no pilsner is complete without a healthy dose of patience, while we wait out a 6 week rest in the lager tank.

The balance of this beer leans somewhat to the hoppy side, but the crisp, clean backbone continues to shine throughout.
